BiographyDr. A. Heidari, Ph.D., D.Sc. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Chemistry. He has got his Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees form California South University (CSU), Irvine, California, USA. Furthermore, he has double postdocs in Project Management and also in Nanochemistry and Molecular Structure Theory. His research interests are Biophysical Chemistry, Nanochemistry, Quantum Chemistry, Biomolecular and Vibrational Spectroscopy, Molecular Modeling and Structure, Theoretical, Computational and Mathematical Chemistry, Ab initio and Density Functional Methods. He has participated at more than fifty reputed international conferences, seminars, congresses, symposiums and forums around the world as yet. Also, he possesses many published articles in Science Citation Index (SCI)/International Scientific Index (ISI) Journals. It should be noted that he has visited many universities or scientific and academic research institutes in different countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, Russia, France, Swiss, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, South Korea, China, etc. as research fellow, sabbatical and volunteer researcher or visitor heretofore. He has a history of several years of teaching for college students and various disciplines and trends in different universities. Moreover, he has been a senior advisor in various industry and factories. He is expert in many computer programs and programming languages. Hitherto, he has authored more than ten books in Chemistry. Syne, he has been awarded more than three hundreds reputed international awards, prizes, scholarships and honors. Heretofore, he has multiple editorial duties in many reputed international journals. Hitherward, he is a member of more than one hundred reputed international academic�scientific�research institutes around the world.

BiographyClaudio Nastruzzi was born in Ferrara on March 29, 1958. 1983 - Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Ferrara, Department of Pharmaceutical Science. 1983-1984 - Fellow in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science of University of Ferrara, working on natural compound synthesis (prostaglandins and leukotriens) and characterization of isosazolic and isosazolinic nuclei reactivity. 1988 - Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science, with a dissertation on the syntesis, antitumor and antimetastatic activity of aromatic polyamidines. 1988-1990 - Post-doctoral position at the Institute for Polymers of the Eidgenissische Technische Hochschule, (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) (ETH), Zorich in the group of Prof. P.L. Luisi. 1990-1991 - Post-doctoral position at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Ferrara, having as main topic the production and characterization of liposomes especially designed for retinoids delivery. Biophysical studies and activity on in vitro cultured cell lines. 1991-1998 - Researcher position at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Ferrara, investigating the production of microspheres, liposomes and microemulsions for the controlled delivery of biological response modifiers. 1998-2009 - Associated Professor at the Dipartimento di Chimica e Tecnologia del Farmaco, of the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy. 2009-2012 - Associated Professor at the Dipartimento di Scienze Farmaceutiche, of the University of Ferrara, Ferrara, Italy. 2012-Present - Associated Professor at the Dipartimento di Scienze della Vita e Biotecnologie, of the University of Ferrara, Ferrara, Italy.

Abdelwahab Omri

BiographyDr. Omri obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Universit de Montral, Canada, in 1995. After completing postdoctoral fellowships at McGill University and the University of Toronto (1996-1998), he spent more than 2 years as Research Associate at NRC (Institute of Biological Sciences in Ottawa) from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Omri is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry with a cross appointment to the Department of Biology, the Biomolecular Sciences Ph.D. Program, School of Rural and Northern Health Ph.D. Program. His research interests are focused on lipid-based drug and vaccine delivery systems. His laboratory employs a multidisciplinary approach to addressing the antimicrobial resistance to gram negative bacteria in cystic fibrosis patients and in medical devices implants. Dr. Omri is also involved in the education of undergraduate and graduate students through the coordination of several calendar courses in biochemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, and pharmaceutical technology. In addition to research, Dr. Omri is actively involved in the research training of both undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Omri has served in administrative capacities in several international scientific societies. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed research articles over his career on various aspects of drug delivery and targeting in addition to several published book chapters and books (2). He has served on a number of editorial boards and granting agencies in Canada and abroad. Dr. Omri has 2 patents.
